Have fun with making kaleidoscopes from found objects from the Scrap Box. Principles of reflection, refraction and symmetry will shine a light on the science of kaleidoscopes. Though this popular toy was invented in the early 1800’s, it’s still relevant today in an "upcycle" way, as you build your kaleidoscope with recyclables and green-thinking techniques.
