Explore the many ways to incorporate recyclables into playful alternatives to “store-bought” costumes and alter egos. The discussion will include the multicultural use of masks worldwide and how Halloween in America--a beloved and sometimes controversial celebration--has become a melding of diverse beliefs, ancient customs and personal expression.

Renowned local artist, Karen Gallop, will be the instructor of masks in this class for ages 7 & up. Workshop fee is $10 for adults (ages 14 & up) & $5 for children (ages 7-13). This includes all materials & tools needed for the project, which will be held at The Scrap Box.
We are open to the public: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
